PROGRAM OVERVIEW
In partnership with the Beauty United Council of Ontario (Beauty United), the Ontario government announced in April 2022 that it would provide $1.9 million in funding to deliver first-of-its-kind health and safety training to the Personal Care Industry. Although workplace health and safety training has always been mandatory for Personal Care businesses in Ontario, it has only ever been accessible via several different provincial programs and courses which cost Personal Care employers and their staff precious time and money.
Now, through our partnership with the provincial government, Beauty United is pleased to offer Personal Care Services employers across Ontario “one-stop-shop” health and safety training that is:
FREE – training offered at no cost, in fact, the province will pay you for each employee registered
EFFICIENT – shorter training time through convenient e-learning
CUSTOM – courses tailored to the personal care service industry
APPROVED – our programs are delivered by approved providers from the Ontario Chief Prevention Office to ensure your business meets and exceeds requirements for workplace health and safety.
