Remembering & Honouring Dino Cairo

We are deeply saddened to share the following message from our friends and industry colleagues at Oriac. The passing of Dino Cairo is a profound loss to the beauty community across Canada and beyond. Dino was a passionate leader, a true champion of our industry, and a dear friend to so many of us at ABA Canada. His presence, vision, and heart will be sorely missed.

Please take a moment to read this heartfelt message from Joe Cairo and Dave Basi:

It is with a heavy heart that we share some devastating news this morning from Oriac.  Dino Cairo, our President, passed away over the weekend here in Chicago. This loss is deeply personal to all of us, and I know we all feel the impact of his absence.

Dino was not only a leader but also a kind, caring, and joyful spirit who believed wholeheartedly in our industry and in every one in it. His passion for our business, his unwavering kindness, and his commitment to making our industry a supportive and inspiring environment will forever remain a guiding light for our company.

While we grieve the loss of a remarkable individual, we want to reassure you that Oriac remains strong and resilient. We are committed to carrying forward Dino’s legacy by continuing to pursue excellence and by embracing the values he held dear. Our business will move forward with the same passion and dedication that he instilled in all of us, ensuring that every step we take honors his memory and celebrates his contributions.

During this difficult time, both for us at Oriac and for the industry that has lost an incredible person, let us lean on our collective strength and the spirit of community that Dino nurtured.
